Conditions

There are some conditions linked to becoming a member of Havenclub Amsterdam. These are set in the Internal Regulations of Havenclub Amsterdam. Summarized these conditions are as follows:

• You are in a leadership position (self-employed entrepreneurs and business partners automatically fulfill this criterion)
• You have affinity with the harbor and its activities
• You are employed in or in favor of the Amsterdam North Sea Canal region for more then six months
• You will become a personal member, nominated by at least two Havenclub members
• You are planning to regularly participate in Havenclub events. You are not obligated to stay for diner each time. It is OK to just join for a drink. But only when you are present at approximately half of the meetings, you will find the network starting to work for you.
• If you plan to stay for the Havenclub diner, you are expected to inform the secretary at the latest on the Tuesday beforehand, in order to let the cook know how many people will attend.
• If you are unexpectedly prevented from joining for dinner after subscribing, please also let us know beforehand.
• During the Havenclub diner the gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (on penalty of paying for a round of drinks). There is no special dress code for the ladies.

Are you willing to meet our conditions? Then we invite you to subscibe as a candidate member through the online registration form. You can also let the board know that you would like to become a candidate member by yourself or through another Havenclub member.
